RSH Protection’s production group, managed by Jason Hoots and Roger Parks, implemented a highly flexible system platform that provides versatile and convenient system integration for Statesville’s administration group. The project was contracted by Hickory Construction Company of Hickory and Salem Electric Company of Winston-Salem; Scott Annas was the site superintendant for HCC. “Scott, Salem Electric, and Hickory Construction were very good to work with on this type of renovation project that comes with many unique challenges” says Roger Parks of RSH Protection.

“RSH implemented a very nice solution and much more” commented Dan Fox, an IT technician for the City of Statesville and key player of the implementation process. RSH took the time to understand what the business challenges were for a highly used facility with irregular schedules and presented a series of solutions that the City of Statesville was able to choose from to accomplish the objective of keeping the building secure.

This integrated Media Display System allows maximum flexibility of both content and how that content is best seen.  This flexible choice of display options is kept simple, employing a Computer Controlled Display Matrix designed and built by RSH for ECAC.

ECAC agents can now view simultaneously critical elements needed to coordinate a complex freight charter booking.  Scanning their Media Display Wall, ECAC agents can now see in an instant where their planes are, weather conditions at any point along the charter route and the conditions of where that plane is to go.   Agents can also use this information matrix to analyze any regional information that might delay fright unloading and ground transportation to the client.

RSH Protection recently completed the project of supplying 680 ASSA High Security, interchangeable core lock cylinders for the final phases of the North Carolina Department of Corrections Central Prison Project, Raleigh, North Carolina.  The Balfour Beatty led project consisted of a state-of-the-art, 120 bed, Regional Medical Center as well as a 216 bed Mental Health facility to be used by the NC state prison system. Tsantes and Associates, the independent representative for ASSA High Security Locks, was instrumental in helping RSH Protection provide an extremely high level of service and responsiveness throughout the project. RSH Protection hardware director, Tom Curry, also worked onsite by re-keying cylinders to meet the end user’s needs.

TACOMA, Wa. | October 25, 2011—TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) provided hands-free access to the Tidewater Plantation community in North Myrtle Beach, North Carolina.

The previous system used key-fobs that opened the gates remotely but the community required an option that was not easily moved from vehicle to vehicle or shared with non-residents, increasing security for community members

RHS Protection, Inc., Mooresville, NC installed TagMaster’s long-range LR-6 XL readers at three different entry sites for residents and staff to gain access to Tidewater Plantation’s 1100 homes with the S1255 MarkTag Classic RFID tag mounted inside their vehicles.  Integrated with the system was an ICT Protégé Platform for access control and remote management of the site.

There are separate standards for operation to include opening and closing speeds, sensing devices, activation zones, guide rails, low energy and full energy doors, decals and markings, entrapment protection and others.
